Think about the people you see on regular occasions at various races. Not just your friends but also the people you just kind of see around the track. Chances are you’ve got several people in mind. Now, how much do you know about them? Not their results, stats or whatever, but them as people.

It is hard to explain to people what it is we do and how much fun it is. It is difficult because a lot of the time it isn’t that much fun. It is downright challenging. All of the preparation for the next ride or race can cause a lot of late nights. Going to the events are fantastic, but how many of you have missed other things that you would also liked to have done? How many arguments have you have with your significant other because they just don’t understand your addiction? It is probably the same amount as the number of great stories that you have from going to races!
